Primary Responsibilities

• Repair and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems on a variety of models of construction equipment and on highway commercial trucks.

• Accurately diagnose issues and procure parts necessary for repair.

• Comfortably read electrical and hydraulic schematics and parts diagrams

• Flexibly complete repairs in the field as well as shop

• Maintain clean and safe work environment

Required skills/ Abilities

• Experience in heavy equipment repair and diagnostics

• Basic computers skills and able to use diagnostic software of multiple types

• Consistently repair equipment in line with manufacturer guidelines and specifications

• Must own basic tools required for job

• Self-discipline to be able to work unsupervised, complete tasks in a timely manner, and document

• Must work well with others in a team environment

• Willing to work overtime and some Saturdays as workload dictates

• Physical ability to perform repairs including but not limited to climbing, kneeling, pushing, pulling, overhead work, inclement weather conditions, and lifting up to 90 lbs.

• Must have valid drivers license, clean MVR, background screen  - CDL B+ preferred

• Welding skills preferred but not required
